ATISHI AND SAURABH BHARADWAJ SWORN IN AS DELHI MINISTERS IN PLACE OF TWO ARRESTED MINISTERS, NOW IN JAIL
After the arrest of two cabinet ministers viz Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain on alleged corruption charges levelled against them by Delhi Police and Enforcement directorate including the Central Bureau of investigation now in Tihar Jail as under trials, the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival recommended the names of Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj , both lawmakers for their induction as cabinet ministers who were sworn in today after the president Draupadi Murmu accepted the Delhi govt recommendations. While Atishi will be be first term cabinet minister, Saurabh Bharadwaj will be the minister for the second time. According to sources Atishi will be given charge of education, PWD, power, and tourism departments while Saurabh Bharadwaj will be getting health, urban Development, water and industries etc. The Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejrival congratulated both the newly inducted ministers. He tweeted in hindi : on assuming new responsibilities many good wishes and congratulations to Atishi just and Saurabh Bharadwaj ji. You both will have to take the good works of Manishji and Satyendra Jain ji further ahead. People have great hopes in both of you tweeted Arvind Kejrival.
A main team member of Sisodia, former Delhi CM Atishi is MLA from Kalkaji and a Rhodes Scholar whereas Saurabh Bharadwaj is, an MLA from Greater Kailash. Both the newly inducted ministers are outspoken and carries an image of being political leaders of impeccable integrity.
