Assam PYC chief expelled from Congress for 6 years. IYC National Secretary Shri Vardhan Yadav sends a Legal Defamation Notice to Dr. Angkita Dutta
The senior Congress leader and Member Secretary of Disciplinary Action Committee of All India Congress Committee Tariq Anwar on the recommendation of the Indian Youth Congress national president Sriniwas BV Rao has expelled the president of Assam Pradesh Youth Congress Dr.Angkita Dutta from the primary membership of the party for six years for her Anti Party activities with immediate effect. There were serious charges levelled against her by the national president for clandestinely hobnobbing with the Assam chief minister Hemanta Biswas and levelling false, malicious, concocted and biased charges against the IYC chief from various, social media platforms including twitter without any evidence etc. The IYC chief has said that this incessant slander campaign against him by the earlier PYC chief has the sole pre meditated ill conceived design and malafide intention to denigrate his reputation and image publicly in connivance with the Assam CM to finally join BJP.
The IYC chief has also levelled charges of corruption against her saying that she is, allegedly involved in Sharda scam and was also summoned by ED for necessary interrogation. Meanwhile,
a press statement has been issued in pursuance to a tweet and other statements issued by Dr. Angkita Dutta, former PYC President w.r.t. Shri Vardhan Yadav, National Secretary, IYC wherein Dr. Dutta has resorted to using utterly unparliamentary, undignified, defamatory, malicious words against Shri Vardhan Yadav and has levelled totally sexist, chauvinistic, false, frivolous allegations against him.
The IYC legal cell in accordance with the instructions from its National Chairman, Advocate Roopesh Singh Bhadauria has taken a strong, stringent legal action on the issue and therefore IYC National Secretary Shri Vardhan Yadav has sent a Criminal Defamation notice to Dr. Angkita Dutta in view of the same.
Adv. Ambuj Dixit National Co-Coordinator of IYC Legal Cell has issued a Defamation Notice on behalf of IYC Secretary Shri Vardhan Yadav and has said that It is also a matter of public knowledge that Dr. Dutta’s name has come up in Sharda Chit Scam Fund and ED / PMLA cases.
It is also reliably learnt that Dr. Dutta is in constant touch with Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, CM of Assam and has been undertaking this exercise of maligning and defaming IYC n its chief simply to create an atmosphere of leaving the Congress Party with an objective to join the BJP, the ruling dispensation at the State and the Centre and consequently to have a closure of these cases.
The entire exercise of publically maligning and defaming Shri Vardhan Yadav and is politically motivated, and is absolutely false and baseless said the IYC press statement.
on 21 April too the advocates viz Shatabhish Shivanna and advocate Abhishek Janardhan has on behalf of their client IYC chief has issued legal notice to BJP Karnataka unit saying that they will have to bear severe consequences for defaming the IYC chief through their tweets by issuing suspicious and defaming information solely to malign the image of Sriniwas BV. According to a tweet of one Kanika Katiyar as below the IYC chief has sent notice through his counsel to Karnataka BJP defaming his reputation etc.
