Congratulations friends, The brave fighter, whistle blower and journalist who had been fighting for justice to Ankita Bhandari and her traumatised family since 2022, 18 th September and had also exposed a massive corruption issue in an Intercollege of Pauri Garhwal as a result of which he was framed on fictitious grounds and unsubstantiated charges has been granted bail in the Kotdwar Sessions Court/ Pauri Garhwal today after the concerned advocate very efficiently put his point of view about vindictive arrest of the scribe now lodged in Khandiusena jail in Pauri Garhwal district. This is the victory of transparent jurisprudence , victory of the relentlessly struggling people, the brave traumatised parents of Ankita Bhandari and the massive youth and women power of Uttarakhand in the Himalayan State and the country who believe in justice , transparency and democratic values.
According to sources on the outstanding argument and plea of the advocate presenting the case of Ashutosh Negi , the logics and arguments of the Public prosecutor couldn’t stand in front of the honourable judge who to accepted and said that this is a clear cut case of vindictive attitude as journalist cum social activist was relentlessly fighting for a noble cause to seek justice for brutally killed late Ankita Bhandari and her traumatised parents . This seems to be an unambiguous case of political vendetta said the honourable judge and granted him bail with immediate effect. There were lots of advocates of Pauri bar association during the hearing of the case in support of scribe Ashutosh Negi. Ashutosh Negi and Mr.Maithani were asked to furnish a personal bond of Rs 40 thousand each as security deposit against the bail.
Usually after granting bail the under trials are released in the evening. It may be recalled that Ashutosh Negi who was also active in the Srinagar, Garhwal, Dharna to demand action against the so called VIP and justice to brutally killed daughter Ankita Bhandari was arrested by the police few days ago forcibly dumped in a police van and arrested under SC ST case.
Another case of tearing the clothes of policeman and creating hurdles in the conduction of the duty were also wrapped against Negi.
There had been hundreds and thousands of condemnation related messages on social media platform X and Facebook against the government and the police administration including protests and demonstrations in various parts of the state including arrests by the activists of Mahila Congress at Pauri.
The print and electronics media too has widely covered this news calling it an open injustice to Ankita Bhandari and Ashutosh Negi and ulterior motive of the ruling political dispensation of the state to deliberately harrass, victimise and even arbitrarily arrest those who are coming in support of the traumatised parents of Ankita Bhandari.
The wife of Ashutosh Negi and the family members of one more activist were harassed by transfering to distance place in Pithoragarh from Dehradun on wrong n false grounds.
