Arvind Kejriwal levels serious charges on BJP regarding large scale cutting of votes in Delhi
The national convenor of AAP and the former Delhi chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejrival has levelled serious allegations on the ruling Bhartiya Janata Party at the centre that it is pre – strategically hatching a conspiracy to systematically cut large chunk of votes of the Dalits, minorities and those representing opposition ideologies. Just two days ago the Delhi chief minister has issued a verbal statement in Delhi Assembly that he will on 6 th December expose the ill conceived tactics and designs of the ruling party to cut large chunk of votes in Delhi to devoid people of their voting rights. The former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival today made startling disclosures in this regard with credible evidence asking why the BJP wants to cut the votes of Dalits, backwards and the poor from the voters list in Delhi. He also released the video of his disclosure to the press as well as in social media even bringing to fore those voters whose votes have been cut but they are very much living in those houses and with adequate proofs of Adhar cards and voter cards thus unambiguously exposing the election commission and those involved in this malpractices. The video of Arvind Kejrival putting his point of view in this regard is however self explanatory. According to Arvind Kejrival while bringing to light the case of Shahadara constituency there are 1,86,362 electorates in Shahadara.
In the last assembly elections, BJP lost this seat by just 5200 votes. This time, just before the elections, BJP has submitted a list to the Election Commission in which it has asked to cut 11000 votes {about 6% of the total votes} from here. These votes are mostly of Dalits, backward and poor families. If these votes were cut, BJP would have easily won the election.
According to Kejrival It is surprising n shocking that when Aam Aadmi Party randomly checked 500 voters out of these 11000 people, it was found that about 75% of the voters are alive and live in Shahdara. Their fault is that they come from Dalit community and vote against BJP. TheAa.Admi Party leaders including AAP supremo Arvind Kejrival asks Is Election Commission allegedly cutting voters name clandestinely ? According to another being circulated in social media by AAP sympathisers the role of election commission allegedly comes under suspicion in Delhi . Whenever any party or person sends the list to cut votes with an application to election commission with logic reasons , the election commission posts that information in its website for transparency and integrity but what is alarming here is that the election commission has not publish this information regarding request to cancell 11000 votes in its website. The second point is – just two months ago the election commission had send the summary revision team whose work is to update or revise the voters list. And when the revision team has vindicated the voters list as absolutely correct after physical verification of voters how come the BJP has given the name of 11000 voters to be cut. Had the election commission team not done their work satisfactorily or adequately or are clandestinely helping the BJP to allegedly delete the names of 11000 voters from the electoral list thoroughly checked earlier and found to be okay. According to Kejrival Conspiracy to cut votes is also being hatched in other areas of Delhi: To win the elections, BJP is tampering with the voters list not only in Shahdara but in the entire Delhi.
