Arvind Kejrival says : AAP will not have any alliance with Congress in Delhi elections. Will contest individually

The national convenor of Aam Admi Party and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival has made unambiguous statement that the Aam Admi Party will contest the Delhi election on its own strength and whims and fancies and shall have no alliance with any party.

This clarification was made in his catagorically given statement by Arvind Kejrival on X enclosing the ANI news in which it said that AAP and Congress are in the final stage of alliance with AAP ready to accord 15 seats to Congress and rest to AAP and negligible numbers to other tit bit parties.

However, Kejrival outrightly denied saying that Aam Admi Party is fighting the Delhi elections on its own strength and will not be having any alliance with other political parties including Congress.

It may be recalled that the Congress and AAP though very much the part of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance have always been at loggerheads in terms of Delhi alliance with AAP and Congress, criticizing each other and never coming to terms with each other. Even in Punjab assembly elections the AAP and Congress fought the elections separately despite being very much the significant partners in INDI ALLIANCE.

It is a well known hard fact that Aam Admi Party has majorly intruded into the Congress party’s vote bank in Delhi since it came to power in the national capital for the third consecutive term with BJP more or less keeping its vote bank intact at 34-36%. Therefore Congress considers AAP as its main rival despite both the parties being important ingredients of INDIA.

The AAP is also at serious loggerheads with BJP since day one and have been the ardent critic of the saffron party and vice versa as since 1998 every effort of the saffron party to derail Congress and BJP in Delhi have gone into the deaf ears of the electorates with first – Congress ruling in Delhi for 15 long years till 2014 under the chief ministership of Sheila Dikshit and thereafter the AAP led by Arvind Kejrival.

The BJP may exploit the present situation to its advantage in Delhi elections criticizing AAP and Congress for not uniting despite being the important part of INDIA for power thus tetmjng them as greedy parties.

It may be recalled that the former Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival, former deputy CM Manish Sisodia, MP Rajya Sabha Sanjay Singh, former health minister Satyendra Jain and several MLAs have been in Tihar prison for several months on PMLA charges and those connected with the new liquor excise policy , now scrapped.

The AAP’s former CM, deputy CM, ministers , lawmakers are currently out in bail and the cases still going on against them in various courts.

The former Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival , BJP leaders and Congress leaders are busy campaigning extensively in Delhi with elections due for February.
