Arvind Kejrival arrested by CBI after the special judge Abhinav Rawat gave a go ahead !

The special judge Amitabh Rawat in whose court incarcerated Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival was produced bringing him from Tihar jail where he was questioned yesterday at 10. 30 AM, granted permission to the Indian Premier investigation agency CBI to arrest Arvind Kejrival.

The special judge hearing this case Amitabh Rawat had asked for the documents from CBI regarding his arrest. According to news pouring in Delhi CM and national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejrival was produced before the special judge today morning after the CBI brought him from Tihar jail and requested for giving them his custody to interrogate him to which the special judge Amitabh Rawat agreed n was immediately arrested. The court send him to three days CBI custody for interogation.

Now things really seem to have gone awry for the Delhi CM whose every attempt to seek bail till now, have been jeopardised making his life completely messy. Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival was arrested on March 21 in connection with the new excise policy of Delhi government now scrapped. He has been charged under money laundering act which is not easily bailable. There are serious accusations against Kejrival for having allegedly accepted Rs 100 crores from the South Lobby to give them favours in the liquor policy.

The former Telangana CM’s daughter Kavitha and the former Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia is already behind bars for the last several months. There are reports that now the legal team of AAP has approached the supreme court to challenge the arrest by CBI though they had now withdrawn their earlier appeal in Supreme Court challenging the DHC orders.

The annoyed wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal , Sunita Kejrival expressed her anguish over her husband’s arrest by CBI writing on X that this is not law but dictatorship : Arvind Kejriwal got bail on 20th June. Immediately ED got a stay. The very next day CBI made him an accused. And today he was arrested. The whole system is trying to ensure that the man does not come out of jail. This is not law. This is dictatorship, this is emergency.
