Anupan Kher who was in Lansdowne for forty eight days to direct his movie “Tanvi The Great” thanks the locals after reaching Mumbai

The Bollywood star and director Anupam Kher who was in Lansdowne, Pauri Garhwal for several days with his team of actors, camera crew and co artists for his newly directed movie “Tanvi The Great” has graciously thanked the people of Lansdowne for their everlasting adoration, support and affection during his long stay here promising to hold the premier of this movie at this hill town once it is ready to be released. In a video message after reaching Mumbai today the veteran actor lauded the contribution and support of the people of Lansdowne during the shooting of his movie TANVI THE GREAT and said that he is really overwhelmed to acknowledge the love and affection of the citizens of Lansdowne which is still so soothing, bright and environmentally sound that there are no extra constructions as congested today Shimla has become where he was born more than six decades ago. Memorising his fabulous stay at this magnificent hilly township the director of Tanvi The Great said that he was here for forty eight days with over 240 people that included camera crew, technicians, actors, artists etc but each and every person enjoyed their stay here wholeheartedly as people here are simple, tranquil and affable in nature inviting me to their respected houses , being extremely hospitable and making my stay extremely memorable. While thanking one and all folding his hands Anupam Kher’s message was that of that of nostalgia reminiscing of his lovely forty days stay at the Garhwal Rifles headquarters at Lansdowne. In connection with his ambitious film, actor and producer/director Anupam Kher stayed in Lansdowne for more than a month, traveled around and interacted with people of all ages and levels with great intimacy and ease. He received a lot of love and support from local people and institutions.
Truly, Anupam Kher is not only a great and multifaceted star of Bollywood but also a sensitive and kind-hearted person. Hopefully, perhaps in the future, the relationship between Lansdowne and the film industry will become stronger and economic activity will increase in this town and its surroundings.
