ANNOYED SHANKARACHARYAS NOT TO ATTEND THE CONSECRATION CEREMONY ON 22 ND JAN

While hectic arrangements are being made in Ayodhya to enthusiastically receive prime minister Narendra Modi and millions of Lord Ram devotees from all over the country and widespread mobilisation campaign on full swing at the pan India level by the saffron party, four Shankaracharyas have expressed their unhappiness, disappointment and disenchantment over the consecration ceremony of Ram temple not only terming it as just a political move to beget votes of the majority community in view of the general elections round the corner but also boycotting it saying that the rituals are against religious norms and Dharma Shastras etc.

Though there are reports and as per video reports appearing in social media that all the four Shankaracharyas are opposing the consecration ceremony move but Swamy Avimukteshwaranand and Swamy Nishchalanand have outrightly and publicly rejected the invitation and declared that they are boycotting the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple on January 22 nd by prime minister Narendra Modi.

While categorically rejecting the invitation of the Temple trust both the leading saints of Hindu sect have said that since the rituals of consecration ceremony is taking place against the norms of Sanathan Dharma and against the ” Dharma Shastras”, hence they can’t participate in the consecration ceremony.

It may be recalled that Swamy Avimukteshwaranand has specifically announced in Haridwar that all the four Shankaracharyas are not going to Ayodhya on January 22 though two of them viz Swamy Bharti Krishna and Swamy Sadanand Saraswati have not given any official statement in this regard except revealing their annoyance over the consecration ceremony which according to them has only one motive which is purely political to beget votes in view of the general elections coming near and consecration ceremony taking place against the shastras and Sanatan Dharma traditional norms.

Swamy Avimukteshwaranand who is the Shankaracharya of Jyotishpeeth of Uttarakhand has clearly said that the consecration ceremony of Lord Rama statue and temple is absolutely against the “Dharma Granths “( Religious Scriptures) and Sanathan Dharma rules and regulations.

He emphasised that the consecration of Ram Temple without it being completed is not only a bad omen but against the norms of Sanathan Dharma which should be stopped at all costs to avoid any nad omen.

The temple should be consecrated only after its construction work is completed said Swamy Avimukteshwaranand.

Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand said that Lord Rama devotees may brand me as Anti Modi for my opposition to this consecration ceremony but the fact remains that we can’t remain silent on this ceremony going against the Sanathan Dharma norms and traditions including that of our traditional Shastras especially when the temple is incomplete.

Swamy Nishchalanand who is the Shankaracharya of Orissa’s, Goverdhan of Jaganathpuri said that it’s not that I wasn’t consulted in this regard but the fact of the matter is that if according to Skand Puraan and established religious norms and traditions of Hindu Dharma consecration ceremony etc is not performed then it brings bad luck and bad things enter the statue called ” Bad Omen” bringing misfortune or destroying that area etc.

Swami Nishchalanand said that though he had got the invitation with one person but I will not attend the ceremony as things are not happening as per the Sanathan Dharma and Shastras including the temple not having built completely. I will visit and had been visiting Ram temple at Ayodhya and bowing before it. He said that he will go there but at an opportune time. Among four Shankaracharyas who are annoyed but have not cleared their stand till yet whether they are participating in the consecration ceremony on January 22 at Ayodhya to be inaugurated by prime minister Narendra Modi or not are – Swany Bharti Krishna who is the Shankaracharya of South India’s Shringheri Mutt situated at Chikmagluru whereas Swamy Sadanand Saraswati is the Shankaracharya of Gujarat’s, Dwarka Shardha Muth.

Meanwhile, the general secretary of the Ram Janmabhumi Teerth Trust Champat Rai has said that the Ram Janmabhoomi and the temple is of Ramanand Sampraday. It is not of Shaakya, Shaivya, and Saints.

According to him the temple is being built on three floors and the work of first floor has been completed. The consecration ceremony of Lord Rama will be done on this floor called GARBH GRAH.

Meanwhile Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate while expressing his view on this wrote on X posting picture of all the four Shankaracharya wrote :
