Finally after the tremendous pressure of the general public and the demand of the traumatised parents of Ankita Bhandari the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recommended the Ankita Bhandari case for the India’s premier investigating agency CBI to go into the depth of this matter and re investigate it with immense precision to figure out the VIP behind the mystry.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has while making an announcement of the CBI probe into the unfortunate Ankita Bhandari Bhandari case has said in a message to the people of the state that his government was earnestly serious on this issue since the beginning ensuring seriousness and transparency by forming an SIT under the leadership of an efficient woman officer and after in-depth transparent investigation and determined persuasion in the court finally succeeded in putting all the three perpetrators in jail sentencing them to vigorous life imprisonment.
Now since several persons have created a condition of suspicion in the society on this issue. I thought it would be in the fitness of the things if the traumatised parents of Ankita Bhandari are brought into confidence and sought their views.
Since they demanded the CBI enquiry into this case I am order for the same said the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Posting his video on the X handle of his – the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote in Hindi : Providing justice for our daughter, Ankita Bhandari, is our top priority. Ankita’s parents demanded a CBI investigation during our meeting, and our government has honored this demand and has decided to have the CBI investigate the case. Our government has always been committed to the safety and respect of women. In Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, the land of the gods, the rule of law prevails; the guilty will not be spared under any circumstances said Uttarakhand CM while recommending the Ankita Bhandari case for CBI probe.
Meanwhile the Uttarakhand Congress chief has welcomed this decision of the chief minister of Uttarakhand saying that it is the result of the cumulative relentless struggle of the people of the state including the Congress party but it remains to be seen whether as demanded the CBI investigations take place under the watchful eyes of our learned judge either of the supreme court or the Uttarakhand High Court or not.
