The member of parliament from Garhwal Anil Baluni, who is also the national media incharge of BJP has released Rs. 35 lakhs from his MP relief fund for the renovation and repair of destroyed structures during the massive rains in several villages of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand via the district magistrate Pauri. In a letter send to the district magistrate Pauri, Garhwal the Lok Sabha MP has written that he is allocating in all Rs. 35 lakhs for villages of Pauri Garhwal district viz Rs. Ten lakhs for Sainji Village, and Rs. Five lakhs each for Buraansi, Faldwadi, Kaandaayi, Jandroya and Jagodi villages where excessive rains have led to destruction of houses etc for their repairs and renovation. To this the national organising secretary of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal Ashutosh Negi reacted saying that this thirty five lakhs is very little an amount for the repairs and renovation of the houses etc in these five villages. He said this allocation should be atleast Rs. One Crore as the MP fund of each year idTs. Five crores then why this little fund. He requested the MP Garhwal to atleast allocate Rs. One Crore by widening his heart.
