Angered women duped of their hard earned money by LUCC block traffic at Rishikesh Badrinath road, Srinagar. Several arrested,Women dragged in the road and arrested !
Hundreds of extremely furious and angered women of Rishikesh and the interior villages who have been duped of their hard earned money amounting to several lakhs of rupees by a fraudulent chit fund company namely Loni Urban multi state Credit Society (LUCC) today protested at Rishikesh Badrinath Marg , Srinagar and blocked the traffic subsequently being forcibly taken by the police in large numbers to the detention centres. The angered women who blocked the buses resulted in traffic jam for several hours.
The lathi weilding police in good number , men and women, including inspectors forcibly took the women to the police jeeps and the jail vans with women having heated arguments and skirmishes several times.
The women protestors were literally dragged on the road and forcibly put in the police vans. Some women even became unconscious. The women protestors were raising anti CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Murdabad slogans and demanding return of their money deposited in LUCC.
What is interesting to note here that when the angered women protestors were struggling with the police demanding their hard earned money back and stringent punishment to the owner of LUCC , the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Dhan Singh Rawat, minister including the top bras were busy accepting bouquets and rose petals in their honour inaugurating the HNB Garhwal University student union event.
It is believed that thousands of investors especially women had invested their hard earned money with the LUCC who absconded about duping them with their lakhs of rupees. The investors were from Srinagar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal etc including several other towns of Uttarakhand who were brought in confidence by hundreds of agents who promised to double their money in short span.
The owner of the company is one Aggrawal who has duped thousands of investors at the pan India level.
The Uttarakhand government hasso far given no assurances to the affected women who have been running from pillar to posts to seek justice since long but of no avail.
This LUCC company had hundreds / thousands of agents all over the country and the Gomti Nagar, Lucknow police had registered a case against actors Alok Nath, Shreyas Talpade and the proprietor of LUCC for duping 9.2 crores from 45 investors influencing them through the propaganda by these filmstars. Not only this but a news report was also published about this chit fund company committing fraud with eight lakh investors in Barabanki duping them if there several crores of rupees closing all their offices and absconding. Some women from Dehradun namely Anchal Gurung, Vinod Thapa, Indu Thapa, resident of Thakurpur Premnagar, have also been cheated of Rs. 850000 by this fraudster the LUCC . The small vegetable and fruit vendors have deposited their money in this company under the guise of being doubled in the short span. The company have collected an amount of about 25 crores and the agents are not picking anyone’s call who have already received their commission. The company ‘s offices have been closed and have absconded with the booty.
