An undertrial shot at by two pistol welding criminals at Roorkee while being taken to the court

The law and order situation in Uttarakhand has gone beyond control and there is no threat of law and police in the eyes of the criminals. The crime rate is surging ahead and the lives of the people at risk. The situation has become so loose that now the criminals are shooting at the under triald while being taken to courts under strict police custody and the police becoming mere spectators with not able to fire from their rifles in a huff. Today in Roorkee two criminals openly fired two rounds on an undertrial when he was being taken to the court for appearance. The two persons cabe in motorcycles and fired two rounds from close quarters on one undertrial V. Tyagi who was believed to have been injured. There were two policemen in the vehicle with the undertrial when taking the advantage of the jam the two pistol waving criminals fired on the undertrial and conveniently ran away without any response from the police or the passers by. There was panic all around and the undertrial was taken to the hospital for treatment.
