Amul milk costlier by Rs 3 from Friday
After the announcement of the national budget of 2023 -24 the Amul milk prices have again been enhanced by Rs. 3 per litre annoying the lower middle class and middle class of the country which will not be applicable in Gujarat, a special concession to the Gujarati populace. According to the latest news the GCMMF in its statement issued from Mumbai said that the milk prices of Amul has been increased by Rs 3 per litre for markets other than Gujarat such as Delhi, Kolkatta and Mumbai. The new enhanced prices will be effected from Friday morning says the statement of GCMMF. This increase being the sixth time in Delhi with volumes of more than thirty litres per day. Between 1997 and, 2022 milk experienced an average inflation rate of 2.27 % per year. After this increase of Rs two in every litre Amul milk , Amul Tanzania will now cost Rs 54 per kg and Amul Gold will be sold at Rs 66. In addition one litre pouch of cow milk will now cost at Rs 56 while Amul A 2 Buffalo milk pouch will cost at the rate of Rs 70 per KG from Friday.
