Amit Shah calls AAP a boisterous fighting party with no attitude of “SEWA”, Adhir Ranjan strongly objects to Delhi Amendment Bill saying it will now happen in other states, beware !

The union home minister Amit Shah today spoke on the National Capital Territory Amendment Bill (2023) tabled in Lok Sabha two days ago by Mr. Nityanand, state home minister, castigating the Aam Admi Party and its DELHI government as the party not believing in service ( SEWA) but always fighting boisterously. He said that Delhi was ruled by Congress and BJP in the past but both the parties and their leaders never fought but served the electorates of Delhi, but after AAP came to power in the national capital it started fighting with the centre boisterously. Referring the name of the former prime minister Jawahar Lal Nehru the home minister said that he and several other national leaders were opposed to Delhi being given the statehood. The bill was to be taken up for discussion on Wednesday but was adjourned after the opposition MPs created furore in Lok Sabha however the Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary termed the adjournment as government sponsors adjournment. Union home minister said that the opposition parties have been blaming us that this bill has been brought against the judgement of Supreme Court , questions were also raised on the competence of parliament when we brought this bill . However Amit Shah said that this ordinance refers to the order of the Supreme Court which says that the parliament has the right to make laws on any issue related to the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Meanwhile, after union home minister Amit Shah finished his, speech passing some ridiculous comments against INDIA and the non BJP opposition, the Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary passed a taunt on Amit Shah for referring the name of Pandit Nehru quipping “When we came to the House today, it felt good that Amit Shah ji was repeatedly praising Nehru and the Congress party. I thought to myself, what am I seeing? Is this day or night? I thought I should run up to him and put a sweet in his mouth. Because praise for Nehru and the Congress from his mouth was a happy surprise for me.” However, he was immediately interrupted by Shah who clarified that he had not praised Nehru but simply quoted what he has said. If they want to consider this praise, I have no objection to that.” said Amit Shah.

The leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary strongly rebutted to Amit Shah’s, speech on the Delhi Amendment Bill saying that it is in a hurry to implement a bill on Delhi but is least worried about what is happening in Nuh Haryana. Criticising the BJP government and questioning the need to bring the ordinance after the Supreme Court gave enough powers to Delhi government to controll the bureaucracy, Adhir Ranjan said instead of bringing the ordinance it could have brought the bill directly. He questioned the integrity of the BJP led NDA government for bringing the Delhi amendment bill saying that a duly elected government can’t be harassed in such an arbitrary way adding that this is just a start and this arbitrary intervention can be in other states of the country which is not a good sign in our constitutional democracy said Adhir Ranjan in his hard hitting speech.
