Amir Khan’s movie worth Rs 180 crores Lal Singh Chaddha likely to be released on 11 th August being widely opposed !
Lal Singh Chaddha a movie produced by eminent actor, director and producer Amir Khan’s former wife Kiran Rao n Amit Khan himself with Viacom 18, under the banner of Amir Khan productions, having come into lot of controversies even before its release in theatres across India on 11 August , the movie is the remake of a foreign film FOREST GUMP.
Amir Khan after witnessing tremendous protest in the country has made some amends in the movie and has appealed to his fans to watch it.
However there are also reports that the co star of the movie Karina Kapoor Khan’s comments to the opponents of the movie not to see it if they don’t like it, had further enraged those opposing the screening of the movie.
Meanwhile, Amir Khan has while appealing his fans to watch the movie said that it is absolutely not true that I don’t like India. It is rather unfortunate that some people think so. While responding to the troll on Twitter of his film Lal Singh Chaddha , prominent Bollywood actor Amir Khan coming with this movie of his after four years said : They think I don’t like India but it is not true. Lal Singh Chaddha produced by Amir Khand Productions and Viacom 18 (Amir Khan and Kiran Rao) with a budget of Rs. 180 crores featuring himself in the titular character as Lal Singh Chadha, renowned actress Kareena Kapoor, Nega Chaitanya ( for the first time in any movie) and Mona Singh is the remake of Forest Gump, english movie. Lal Singh Chaddha is being directed by Advait Chouhan. The movie invited severe criticism due to one of the scenes exhibiting Amir Khan, urinating against a red coloured wall with his brief case kept nearby his feet with pictures of Indian Gods pasted on it and camera focussing on them. This scene has hurt the sentiments of the majority community say those who are opposing the release and exhibition of the controversial movie. The movie is set to release on 11 th August at the pan India level. According to the news, Amir Khan has shown the movie to the popular superstars of South Indian films viz S. S. Rajmauli, Nagarjun and Chandramauli and sought the reactions of the stars of South Films. He later on said that if the audience of Bollywood and hindi audience can appreciate the movies of South India in Telegu, Tamil n other languages then he is highly encouraged n optimistic that the audience of South will also love to watch it. The social media campaign is going on currently, opposing this movie tooth n nail, complaining that the sentiments of the majority community have been hurt tremendously. Latest news say that Amir Khan has allegedly made some amends in the movie to appease the hurt sentiments of those opposing it, but what amends were made have not been divulged.
