All shops, markets, restaurants etc to open from Monday with schools, colleges, institutions still closed
The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejrival today announced that from Monday onwards all the restaurants, shops n hotels will be opened with buses to be operated with fifty percent capacity as the Delhi Metro is already operating. Addressing a press conference today Arvind Kejrival said that in view of lowering down of Covid 19 cases to a great extent in NCT of Delhi and in order to accelerate the economy of the state the Delhi government has decided to gradually open the lockdown but with pandemic regulations. The government is of the opinion that the unlock down will help people who are facing lot of difficulties due to the lockdown. The opening from Monday onwards will be implemented after implementing new laws n regulations. The earlier odd even condition applied on the opening of the shops, markets n Malls on odd even basis have been revoked n from now onwards all the shops will be opened from 8 A.M. to 10.PM with restaurants as well. However, restaurants will be opened with fifty percent capacity. As far as the marriages are concerned there is complete ban on them in public places except in hotels, banquet halls or marriage halls with mere twenty people in attendance. Addressing the press conference on Sunday Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival said the new rules will be implemented from 5 PM Monday after unlockdown under which all the schools, coaching centres, colleges and educational institutions, swimming pools, stadiums, cinemas etc will be closed. In addition to these, the auditorium, parks, amusement parks, gyms, yoga institutions, public parks and gardens will remain closed. It may be recalled that Delhi has witnessed drastically decreased Covid 19 cases in Delhi with yesterday cases coming down to 536 number with mere three pandemic related deaths.
