AJAY TAMATA WILL NOW WORK UNDER NITIN GADKARI AS STATE UNION MINISTER OF NATIONAL HIGHWAYS AND ROAD TRANSPORT TO PLAY A PIVOTAL ROLE IS ESTABLISHING A WIDE NETWORK OF ROADS IN UTTARAKHAND

The third term Lok Sabha member of parliament from Almora Reserve constituency former minister of state for textiles at the centre Ajay Tamata is a lone union minister of state rank in the central cabinet. Earlier there were speculations of the national media in-charge and new elected Pauri Garhwal MP Anil Baluni being inducted in the central cabinet. Even during the election campaigning the union defence minister Rajnath Singh has publicly hunted that triumph of Anil Baluni will give Pauri Garhwal a central minister but this development couldn’t materialise despite people of Pauri Garhwal banking on their elected representative becoming a union minister as given to understand during the pre election propaganda. However, the announcement of Ajay Tamata’s name as union state minister with allocation of important Road and Transport portfolio under the popular union minister Nitin Gadkari has made everyone surprised. Ajay Tamata’s appointment as minister of state of Road Transport and Highways unambiguously indicate that Prime minister Narendra Modi has tried to oblige the Dalit sections of the society including given weightage to experience and loyalty, affableness and incessant hard work done by him in the 2022 assembly elections leading to the victory of BJP n repeating the saffron party government in the Himalayan state breaking the myth of change by another political party after every five years. Ajay Tamata was the convenor of BJP elections during 2022 assembly elections. He defeated the Congress heavy weight n former Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Tamata by a heavy margin of 234097 votes, representing Almora ( Reserve constituency) for the third consecutive time. The BJP has repeated for the third term from Uttarakhand, a record of sort in the Himalayan state. It may be recalled that Ajay Tamata had been constantly active in Almora constituency and entire Kumaon region during the Assembly elections and thereafter as well having a sound rapport with the ground level workers, leaders and grass root electorates coming to their rescue at the thick and thin. He earned tremendous good will and attention of the Prime minister Narendra Modi, Union minister Amit Shah and national chief JP Nadda. He also has a very good relationship with Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
