Air India Flight AI 2744 had a miraculous escape after its three tyres burst. All passengers safe

This morning a passenger aircraft tragedy was averted when three of its tyres burst while landing at the Mumbai airport amid heavy rain. The aircraft of Air India A 320, Flight AI 2744 from Kochi, Kerala to Mumbai when landing at Mumbai airport veered 16 to 17 metres off the runway after landing near the touchdown zone but fortunately returned safely and taxied normally to the parking area with terrified passengers and crew being completely safe. Had the aircraft after its three tyres burst, stuck on the unpaved ground the main runway would have remained shut until the aircraft was removed. According to the latest news the Aircraft crew and passenger heaved a great sign of relief after the aircraft landed safely despite three tyres getting burst though there have been minor damages at the airport’s primary runway. According to the Airport authority the secondary runway 14/32 has been deactivated. After the recent crash of AI Dreamliner AU 171 in Ahmadabad Gujrat that claimed around 260 precious lives sending shock waves worldwide every minor accident during flights is termed as extremely serious and terrified. And so was today’s incident taken, however, all the passengers and crew are safe. The Mumbai Airport statement says : An incoming aircraft from Kochi experienced a runway excursion at Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport , Mumbai at 9.27 hours on 21 July, Monday. The Airports emergency response teams were immediately activated to manage the accident.All the passengers and crews are safe though minor damages have been reported to the airport’s primary runway – 09/27. To ensure the continuity of operations , the secondary runway – 14/32 has been activated.At the airport our security is our primary concern said the statement.
