The AIIMS authorities and Delhi police have denied the news about underworld Chota Rajan’s alleged death by Corona and confirmed that he is alive and being treated.
It may be recalled that involved in several cases of murder, kidnappings n extortion etc Chota Rajan had been lodged in high security Tihar Jail since 2015 after having been brought from Indonesia under the extradition laws.
He was admitted in AIIMS for the treatment on 25 th after he contracted dreaded Corona virus with the due permission of the session’s court.
Some of the news reports had highlighted about the underworld Don’s death during the treatment due to Corona but later on the AIIMS authorities n Delhi Police have denied the reports as incorrect clarifying that the underworld don is being treated and very much alive. According to ANI, AIIMS authorities have confirmed that Rajan is alive n under treatment.
Even Tihar Jail authorities refuted the news of Rajan’s death and clarified that the News of the death of Tihar Jail inmate Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje@Chota Rajan s/oSadashiv Nikhalje is wrong. He was found Covid 19 positive in Tihar Jail on 22.4. 2021 and admitted in AIIMS on 24.4.2021 said the Tihar Jail statement.
