After Tiranga Yatra, Aam Admi Party now focuses on Employment guarantee Yatra to start from 25 th Sept from Nainital

While Uttarakhand and BJP, the national parties that had ruled the Himalayan state alternatively during the last twenty years with populist announcements not able to satisfy its electorates on health, employment and development front especially decentralised social, economic, educational, health and industrial related development, the new political entrant Aam Admi Party is concentrating its latest efforts on employment guarantee programme of AAP assuring the state’s youths to accord them one lakh jobs in mere six months of its coming to power and Rs. 5000 as unemployment allowance to at least one member of every family including freebies on monthly three hundred unit electricity consumption. While, both BJP and Congress are busy accusing each other for looting the state during the last twenty years with factionalism in their parties at the core, the Aam Admi Party and its leaders and volunteers led by its prospective CM candidate Colonel Ajay Kothiyal.

The chief observer of the party Dinesh Mohania has the other day announced that Aam Admi Party is commencing its ” ROJGAAR GUARANTEE YOJNA”, yatra from Nainital on 25 th September led by Colonel Ajay Kothiyal along with hundreds of party activists going village to village under their door to do it campaign. During its Employment Guarantee campaign the Aam Admi Party will hold seventy rallies/ public meetings in all the seventy constituencies of Uttarakhand in Garhwal and Kumaon Divisions including three hundred corner meetings. The Rojgar Guarantee Yatra commencing from 25 th September from Bhimtal, Nainital will pass through Ranikhet on 27 th, at Salt on 28 th, on 29 th at Dwarhat, them Someshwar on 30 th September. On 1st October it will start from Almora then Kapkot on 2 nd October followed at Bageshwar on 3rd. Similarly it will be carried out in Garhwal thereafter covering all constituencies. It may be recalled that when AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited Haldwani n other adjoining areas in a road show n Tiranga Yatra, he acknowledged tremendous response from women, youth and people of all the sections of the society. Enthused by the massive response the Aam Admi Party has commenced the Rojgaar Guarantee Yatra in entire Uttarakhand covering all the 70 constituencies. According to Aam Admi Party, the state’s, annual budget is Rs 60000 crores and there are 8 lakh unemployed youths in Uttarakhand. If the government of Uttarakhand gives Rs. 5000 every month to these unemployed youths the total expenditure to be incurred comes to mere 8% of the total budget which would bring Rs. 4800 crores annually.

The AAM Aadmi Party us of the opinion that instead of this amount being allegedly misused by politicians should be distributed to the unemployed youths of the state till they are not given jobs. It seems that the AAM Admi Party being headed by a former IRS and an IITian Arvind Kejri leading Delhi for the last seven years have touched the real nerve of the youths of Uttarakhand who had been denied their right to employment since the last two decades. Kindly recall that the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had also assured twenty two thousand jobs to youths of the state few months ago.

Meanwhile, several leaders of political parties are joining Aam Admi Party especially local leaders of BJP and Congress who are not being given any weightage in their respective parties. Today as a sequel to this ongoing trend a former n present Mahanagar upadhyaksh Mahila Morcha BJP has joined AAP in the presence of Col Ajay Kothiyal alongwith state spokesman from Dharampura Yogendra Singh Chouhan. Yesterday, joint director of Panchayati Raj and regional general secretary of Lok Janshakti Party Bharat Singh Negi joined AAP along with several workers.

  1. AAP has done tremendous progress in Uttarakhand in recent months. it has a different working style far away from the liquor and meat party style of other political parties. It has no promises for a favour to contractors for commission against favour…. // Women and young guys are following the new party silently . One party has been forced to the third slot and another is struggling for second or first . In the coming months, another can be pushed down to the second like it did in Delhi . But AAP must come with its stand on liquor as it has devastated hill family culture and social fabric very badly .

    1. I think you said aptly. Yeah it has made considerable progress n in my opinion colonel Kothiyal entry has added lot of credence to the new political entrant in Uttarakhand. Thanks for your invaluable comments. Appreciate from my bottom of the heart.
