After the video of the primary education director of Uttarakhand going viral in social media showing him taking the mobile of the women journalist and the allegedly trying to hit her in the fit of anger inviting tremendous criticism , Mr. Ajay Naudiyal’s office has now given his clarification on the ongoing controversy yesterday.
According to the clarification given by him in writing in Hindi :

Today, 200-300 D.El.Ed. fourth semester students, who are yet to complete their course, entered the Primary Directorate with complete planning along with their parents and some journalists.
At that time, the Director of Primary Education was busy in the online hearing of the High Court. Despite that, he had invited four knowledgeable people for talks. However, after being persuaded, they went back but came back again as per a well-planned strategy and started misbehaving with the Director. When he protested, he was caught by the collar, his belt was pulled, he was pushed and shoved.
These children have so much courage that they are just studying, have not even completed the course and are ready to beat up their director, whereas at that time they should have been teaching in schools or been on DIETS . Then how and on whose orders did they go straight to the Director’s room to surround him, why should obstruction of government work and gross violation of the code of conduct not become the reason for their dismissal?
Now they are being identified, it is the right of the districts to issue a statement, then what did the Directorate come to do with such a huge crowd, it becomes very important to identify such students and arrest them said the statement issued by Director’s office and posted in FB.
