After rise in petrol, diesal and gas prices, rates of toll plazas increased too, adversely impacting people
After winning in four of the five states repeating its governments in the largest state of the country Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, breaking the myth of the previous government not repeating after five years, the BJP led NDA government is rewarding people with price hike not only in petrol, diesal and domestic gas leading to skyrocketing inflation in almost all essential commodities including vegetables, now the rates of tolls in Uttarakhand has also been enhanced negatively impacting the tourists as well as the local populace of Uttarakhand. According to the latest news after the increase in the prices of gas n petrol, diesal the rates of toll plazas have also been increased heavily from Rs 10 to Rs 55 adversely affecting the common man as well as the commuters going in Uttarakhand. In view of the increase in the rates of toll plazas, the fare of buses and freight will also also increase manifold. The National Highways Authority of India has advertised its new rates in news papers literally snatching money from the pockets of tourists and the local people. Those travelling within the limit of twenty kilometres will have to pay Rs 40 more than before. Those living within the vicinity of twenty kilometres special facility of a monthly pass was given to them@ Rs 275 per month, which has now been enhanced to Rs 315, thus affecting the common man adversely apart from petrol crossing Rs 100, per litre and domestic gas per cylinder reaching Rs 1000. In Delhi’s vegetable market lemon is being sold at Rs 200 a kg, beyond anyones capacity to bear the inflation, especially during the peak summer when it’s required the most. However, the detailed description of the enhanced rates are given below in the advertisement for the readers perusal.
What is interesting to note here that while after the massive victory of BJP in four states out of five, with people giving it tremendous mandate despite already existing inflation, instead of reversing the prices of petrol, diesal n gas the BJP led NDA government has further increased the gas prices by Rs 50 per cylinder and petrol diesal by 80 paise per litre with petrol crossing Rs 100 in several states n Rs 115 in some. However, in Punjab where AAM ADMI government is formed after getting a massive people’s mandate, its CM Bhagwant Maan announced 35 thousand permanent jobs to youths after regularising the services of contractual employees and 25 thousand new jobs to the unemployed, after being passed by the state cabinet. Sounds, interesting and surprising that while the electorates extend their thumping support to BJP, it does nothing to control the rising inflation adversely affecting the common masses especially the middle n lower middle class who had already suffered badly during the last two years confronting dreaded pandemic losing their businesses, jobs and other petty sources of income.
Govt of India should end all subsidies for Gas, Petrol, Crude oil etc
Why use resources which need to be imported and give at subsidized rate ? And nobody is revolting other than time pass congress. Why doesnt Congress n friend reduce these prices in their respective states
Even after 75 years of independence people want to live free of cost
Maybe govt should consider forfeiting Gandhi family captured terretories and auction them. That might give great relief to citizens of India.
And Italian lady not paid dues of massive Bunglow at petty rates for long time. Madamji please pay.
Over 70 years Gandhi family living free of cost at public cost
Kindly post my comment outdide 10Janpath, and Akbar road and congress office
Population control bill nahi chahiye inn logo ko & they dont care about basic laws of economics till they are in opposition at the centre
Arnt these the same people who created a big ruckus against 3 farmer bill ? And when elections got over they shamelessly said that the protest was to stop BJP from coming to power in state elections
Abb aur koi besharmi UPA walo ki bachi hogi toh woh bhi samne aa jayegi dheere dheere
If they are genuinely worried about price rise then they should give up all the subsidies and freebees themselves
