After mother, Congress general secretary PriyankaGandhi too infected with Covid. Both mother – daughter duo have gone into self quarantine

After her mother Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi contracted Covid 19 virus with mild infection having already gone into self quarantine at her residence 10 Janpath since Thursday, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Friday contracted Covid infection and she too had gone in self quarantine. Priyanka Gandhi had informed about her Covid contraction through her tweet advising, those who were in contact with her to exercise restraint and go for necessary Covid tests immediately. Priyanka is however suffering from mild Covid infection.

In her tweet Priyanka Gandhi wrote : I’ve tested positive for Covid 19 with mild symptoms. Following all the protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. I would request those who came in contact with me to take all the necessary precautions tweeted Priyanka Gandhi. It may be recalled that her mother Sonia Gandhi was infected with Covid on Thursday and was summoned by ED to join for investigations of 8 th June. Priyanka Gandhi Congress general secretary had already been to ED for questioning in a money laundering case of 2011 , 2012. Rahul Gandhi has, also been summoned in this case by the Enforcement Directorate.
