After JJP MLAs three Independent MLAs also withdraw their support bringing BJP govt in minority. Former CM Hooda demand president rule and early elections
The BJP government led by the chief minister Nayab Singh Saini is in total disarray as three independent MLAs supporting it have withdrawn support from the BJP government and extended their wholehearted support to Congress party. The former chief minister of Haryana and senior Congress leader Bhupender Singh Hooda today held a press conference and said that today in Rohtak, 3 independent MLAs withdrew their support from the BJP government of Haryana and extended their support to the Congress party. He thanked the three independent lawmakers namely Somveer Sangwan (Charkhi Dadri) ◆ MLA Randhir Golan (Pundri) ◆ MLA Dharampal Gondar (Nilokheri) saying that the right decision has been taken by them at the right time keeping in mind the public sentiment and will definitely yield results. He added that today not only the public but also those who voted and supported the BJP are unhappy with the policies of the government. After the withdrawal of support by JJP and independent MLAs, the BJP government has now come into minority. He demanded imposition of President’s rule in Haryana immediately and declaration of assembly elections at the earliest. He said that BJP is going, Congress is coming. It may be recalled that while today there was the third phase of polling in 93 constituencies of the country on the other hand in Haryana the BJP government is on the brink of disaster with three independent MLAs supporting it withdrawing their support extending it to the Congress. At the press conference convened by the former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and the state Congress chief Udai Bhan one of the defected MLAs Mr.Gunder said that we are withdrawing the support to the BJP government led by Nayab Singh Saini and extending our whole hearted support to the Congress party. The Congress state chief Udai Bhan while addressing the PC said that the present strength of Haryana assembly out if total 90 is 88. The BJP has the strength of 40 assembly lawmakers. The government has the support of JJP and independent MLAs . Both the JJP as well as independent MLAs have withdrawn their support to the BJP government bringing it in minority, losing their constitutional right to run the government.
Addressing the PC Bhupinder Singh Hooda said now the situation is entirely against the BJP who’ve list the support of JJP and Independents coming to 40 out of 48, this having no right to rule. He demanded imposition of presidents rule at the earliest and declaration of dates if the assembly elections to seek mandate from the people if the state. According to MLAs Randhir Golan and Sharan Pal Gondar, they have supported the BJP government for 4.5 years led by Mr.Khattar but since now inflation and and unemployment is at its peak we have bi option but to withdraw support and support the Congress party.
