After the most tragic encounter with Pak aided terrorists in Kathua last week in which five bravehearts of Garhwal Rifles including a JCO were martyred , on Monday another tragic incident occured at Doda where yet again four soldiers including one officer ( Major) of Indian Army were martyred while encountering the Pak sponsored dreaded terrorists.

Op KOTHI – 2 – Based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation by #IndianArmy and JKP was in progress in General area North of #Doda. Contact with terrorists was established tonight at about 2100h in which heavy firefight ensued. Initial reports suggest injuries to our bravehearts. Additional troops have been moved into the area. Operations are still continuing mentioned @adgpi- WTC on X.
According to latest reports apart from the four bravehearts’ martyrdom in this operation five soldiers have been grievously injured and are battling for life and death in Army hospital.
According to the information the yesterday’s ambush was more or less exactly like one happened last week in Kathua in which the Pak sponsored and fully trained terrorists targeted the trucks with grenades which were five hundred metres apart in DODA .
In addition to the grenades used in the ambush the terrorists also simultaneously used the M4 Assault Rifles including armoured piercing bullets with steel tips which are very hazardous n dangerous. The ambush with grenades in which five soldiers are critically injured was a simultaneous strike on both the trucks ferrying twelve bravehearts.
According to the news reports the incidents of martyrdom of Indian brave hearts have been on the rise with young soldiers being killed at the hands of the terrorists who are emerging repeatedly though being killed also but the life of the bravehearts is more precious.
Over the last thirty two months nearly fifty bravehearts have been martyred belonging to various regiments including the Garhwal Rifles in Jammu region.
According to the NDTV the terrorists invasions especially by the Pakistan sponsored extremists in Poonch and Rajouri districts has now infected the Jammu region badly where earlier there wasn’t any extremism . However, the Kashmir region too is fully strife torn with terrorists attacks on India Army posts, trucks etc hardly coming under control taking precious lives of Indian bravehearts. These daredevils have undoubtedly killed good number of terrorists teaching them a befitting lessons but the loss of lives of India Army men strikes at the root of the morale of our bravehearts who are being martyred at such a young age.
