In Uttarakhand there are always and forever anomalies and inefficiencies in everything.

Talks of already a fragile environment, massive corruption, building of large hydro projects, breaking of mountains in the name of roads and their widening, building tunnels in the already fragile mountains coming under Zone 5 and the absence of the sewer system with internal natural water resources changing course and aquifers bursting internally creating subsidence and multiple cracks on several locations including Joshimath, the gateway to Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkunth Sahib are always on everyone’s mouth. And to add to it massive accidents due to catastrophic disasters and vehicular tragedies have made things further worse including the brutal killings of human beings at the hands of maneaters. However, till date nobody has ever thought about Uttarakhand river banks becoming the dumping ground for millions of tons of dirt, waste, plastic and other household biodegradable and non bio filth ultimately going into our pious rivers like Alaknanda and Bhagirathi and finally in Ganges which is already becoming extensively polluted from the toxic chemical wastes of hundreds of chemical factories, tanneries and human excreta waste that flows into it from the banks of pious Ganga. The fresh matter in question is about tonnes of waste dumped on the banks of river Alaknanda at Srinagar Garhwal towards the eyes of the entire local administration , the government in question was blindfolded. Ultimately an enlightened citizen has to come forward through a post on social media opening the eyes of the local administration of Pauri Garhwal district , Namame Gange n Polution control board , the media and others who fearing top level reprisal and media exposure wasted not time to clear the entire dump which was lying unattended for several months and could have multiplied further creating Havoc of contagious diseases in the Srinagar township
According to a social Media post by one Vijay Singh Rawat including posting pictures of this dump : SRINAGAR (GARHWAL)
How to use social media effectively, a student Arun Singh Chauhan from my village Dang posted a social media post on twitter of Dumping zone near Alaknanda, in Srinagar we all amplified it on twitter and today he got call from Namami ganga and then state pollution control board . And place was cleaned as you can see in the pictures below.
Be a responsible citizen first if you want accountability, do not blame the government before doing your job as a citizen correctly.
