AFC India Ltd. Signs International MoU with Nonsan City Municipal Corporation, Republic of Korea, to Boost Agricultural and Technological Collaboration

AFC India Ltd., a premier Deemed Government Company in the field of consultancy and project management, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nonsan City Municipal Corporation, Republic of Korea. This international collaboration marks a significant milestone towards fostering sustainable agricultural growth, technological advancement, and mutual development between India and South Korea.
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation in agriculture, agri-business, smart city planning, water and sanitation, climate resilience, renewable energy, and rural-urban infrastructure development. Both parties will work jointly on knowledge exchange, technology transfer, pilot projects, and capacity-building programs.
Under the agreement, AFC India Ltd. will act as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) in India, facilitating partnerships with Korean agri-tech solution providers, coordinating with Indian stakeholders, and promoting bilateral trade and investment opportunities. Similarly, Nonsan City Municipal Corporation will act as PMC in Korea to promote Indian products and technologies, strengthen bilateral trade, and encourage South Korean innovation and investment in India.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of both organizations expressed optimism that this partnership will create a mutually beneficial agricultural development platform, combining Korean technological expertise with India’s vast agricultural and rural development potential.
This collaboration not only strengthens Indo-Korean relations but also paves the way for innovative and sustainable solutions in agriculture and allied sectors.
