ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING OF GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA DISCUSSES ON THE HISTORIC CENTENARY CELEBRATION BEING ORGANISED AT TALKATORA STADIUM ON 25 TH NOV AND ON 29 TH OCT AT GARHWAL BHAWAN DELHI

GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA, the biggest representative socio cultural organisation of the national capital territory having come into existence for the very first time by our predecessors in Lahore and thereafter in Delhi in 1929 is commemorating its first Centenary Celebrations in Delhi with great pomp and show by organising glittering functions at GARHWAL Bhawan in the month of October commencing on 29 and finally its FINALE at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi on 25 th November, 2023.

Yesterday, a meeting of advisors of GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA was organised at GARHWAL Bhawan premises attended by nearly sixty to seventy advisors who shed light on various aspects of this historic event to take place and also discussed ways and means to generate funding for the successful opening of the event which was slated to be nearly one to two crores approximately.

This historic event termed as the ” The centenary 100 years of GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA Celebrations “, will be unique and outstanding with GHS organising various events of photo exhibition, Uttarakhand’s film festival, multifarious cultural events of GARHWAL Uttarakhand, highlighting the socio cultural achievements of outstanding personalities, highlighting the bravery acts of our legendary personalities, poets, writers, theatre actors, social activists and the former and present contributors to GARHWAL Hiteshishi SABHA.

The GARHWAL Hiteshini Sabha will also felicitate the five eminent personalities of Uttarakhand having tirelessly and outstandingly contributed in various field like environment, social activism, art Culture, writing, self employment etc etc. The organisations or NGOs working in various fields at the national and international level will also be felicitated for their extraordinary contribution.

Apart from this the GHS will also felicitate and honour the senior citizens and those who have tirelessly contributed socially or culturally etc during their five decades career.

The GHS has also for the very first time devised a SAUBHAGYASHAALI SAMMAN to be bestowed to those outstanding women who had been helping, dedicated towards their husbands who had contributed for fifty protracted years to Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha or the society in Uttarakhand’s perspective.

A documentary has also been prepared on the 100 year journey of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha highlighting its various challenges from Lahore to Delhi with the sole aim and perspective to mobilise and aware the present and future generations about the inception , the present and future activities of GHS, and its contribution to our society.

According to the president of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha apart from these inputs, the GHS is also organising an Uttarakhand food fest on a large scale on the external precincts of Talkatora Stadium of 25 th November comprising of delicacies of Uttarakhand.

A PR agency will also be hired to ensure good media publicity of the event and legendary singers like Narendra, Singh Negi, Jubin Nautiyal, Jaager Samrat and Padam Shri Pritam Bhartwan and various cultural teams of eminence will perform at Talkatora Stadium on 25 th November with thousands of Uttarakhandies from Delhi, Uttarakhand and from abroad participating in this historic event.

Apart from this, the GARHWAL Hiteshini Sabha has also decided an APP that will connect with twenty lakh Uttarakhandies nationally and globally.
