Actor turned MP Kangana Ranaut allegedly slapped/ hit at Chandigarh airport by a CISF constable
The controversial outspoken Bollywood actor turned BJP politician who’d won from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency defeating the son of former chief minister Vir Bhadra Singh namely Vikramaditya Singh by a margin of 74000 votes was allegedly slapped by a Central Industrial Force Constable Kulwinder Kaur for disrespecting the farmers who had been on protracted Dharnas cum protests demanding withdrawal of three farm laws termed by them as draconian.
This incident happened at Chandigarh airport where Kangana Ranaut had gone to board a flight for Delhi after winning from Mandi as its new Lok sabha MP on BJP ticket, to participate in the NDA parliamentary party meeting and thereafter at the swearing in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
After allegedly slapping the newly elected from Mandi, HP the CISF constable said that this was in response to her incessant disrespect for the farmers who had been incessantly protesting for more than a year demanding scrapping of three farm laws in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, UP and elsewhere.
After tremendous rounds of talks between the farmers representatives and the government, no concrete result arrived with the prime minister finally agreeing to scrap the three farm laws which were considered to be helping the ultra rich corporates of the country.
Over more than five hundred protesting farmers had laid down their lives during these protests.
While the associates of Mandi MP informed the local police about this incident asking for stringent action against the CISF constable, the CISF commandent took the incident seriously questioning the guilty constable.
Meanwhile in a video posted in social media X under the heading “Shocking rise in terror and violence in Punjab”, the actor turned BJP MP Kangana Ranaut said that I have been receiving lot of calls from my well wishers about my safety.
I want to tell them that I am absolutely safe and sound. The incident took place at security check at the airport in Chandigarh. The woman guard wanted for me to cross.
