The Uttarakhand chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat has brought all the “Darza Dhaari Rajya Mantri” on road taking away their official positions just few months before the commencement of the state assembly elections scheduled to be held in the initial months of the year 2022.
However, no specific reasons have been given for taking away the state minister rank from the heads of various corporations, councils and commissions appointed during the previous chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat’s tenure appointed as chairman, vice chairman and advisors etc.
The chief secretary of Uttarakhand Om Prakash has through his official order No: 273/ 14/1/9/xxI/ 2018 TC IV Dehradun dated 2nd April state that the positions of all chairman, vice chairman, Advisors who were appointed with effect from 18 th March till date ( non governmental persons) in various corporations, councils and commissions including those holding positions of state ministerial, ministerial rank
It may be recalled that about hundred or may be more political persons were nominated as advisors, chairmen and vice chairmen in various state corporations, commissions, n boards holding the state ministerial rank.
There is usually a practice to fill these bodies by the CM with trusted party men including lawmakers who could not be accommodated in the council of ministers due to legal n constitutional restraints.
It is believed that relieving about 100 Darza Dhaari Mantries for now will definitely save lot of tax payers money bring used on them till date say political analysts.
