AAP’s Mayoral candidate Kuldeep Kumar declared as Mayor of Chandigarh by SC with perjury proceedings started against the earring returning officer Anil Masih
The Supreme Court of India has declared the Aam Admi Party mayoral candidate Kuldeep Kumar who was made to lose due to the rigging by the returning officer Anil Masih, as the Mayor of Chandigarh. This decision was taken by the apex court’s bench headed by the chief justice D.Y.Chandrachud on Tuesday. The chief justice apart from declaring Kuldeep as the new Mayor by validating all the eight votes in his favour also directed the Registrar judicial to issue notice to the notorious returning officer Anil Masih for perjury proceedings against him who was literally caught in the CCTV camera manipulating the valid AAP votes by invalidating them using his personal pen. The court was badly annoyed as Anil Masih made false statement lying in front of the learned judges. The serious perjury proceedings have been initiated against the Mayoral election returning officer Anil Masih under section 340 CrPC as he had told the court that he had made the mark in 8 ballots as they were defaced. The court on the contrary found that the ballot weren’t defaced but they were deliberately invalidated by the returning officer Anil Masih . The chief justice strongly lashing out on the returning officer said that he is lying as the ballot papers were not defaced till the poll results were announced. Misguiding the supreme court bench headed by the chief justice Anil Masih said that all the ballot papers were defaced and that he was just marking them .There were so many cameras that I was just looking at them said Masih. The chief justice while lashing on the returning officer said where is the ballot paper defaced ?
