AAP wins in four seats out of 5 with one going to Congress. BJP suffers great setback getting no seat

After winning twenty seven seats in Gujarat Municipal elections making their dashing entry in BJP dominated Gujarat, the AAM Admi party has registered a landslide victory in Delhi MCD byelections by winning four seats out of total five with one seat going to Congress and nil to the saffron party sending a warning signal to the ruling party at the centre as well as in Municipal Corporation of Delhi where it is in majority for the last one n a half decade.

The jubilant national convenor of the Aam Admi Party and Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival has congratulated the Delhi people for reposing faith in Aam Admi Party for the third time in sequence, first in 2013- 14 when it bagged 67 seats out of 70, in 2019 bagging 62 seats and now after six years bagging 4 out of five seats in MCD byelections giving a huge rebuff to BJP. Adressing party workers after the landslide victory jubilant Arvind Kejrival said that the electorates of the five constituencies of MCD viz Rohini C, Kalyanpuri, Trilokpuri, Shalimar Bagh and Bangar have taught an unambiguous befitying lesson to the BJP for inefficiency, inaction and complascence believing in just asking for money and doing nothing for the people except piling up Delhi with rubbish and Kudaa Kachra, not paying salaries to the employees of hospitals and sanitary department under the false excuse of not getting financial support from Delhi government. He added : I congratulate Delhites and the AAP party workers for rsposing faith in us and lauding the Delhi government’s pro people achievements n concessions given to them in water, electricity, heath and transport services ( sector).

He said these results are the proof that the people of Delhi have shown trust in us and the good work done by us and our government.

People have gone so exasperated by the BJP at the centre and in MCD that they have outrightly rejected them and given a zero he added. He accused the saffron party for creating a mess in Delhi by filling it with garbage n trash all around literally doing nothing thus dishonouring the peoples’ wish for a clean Delhi. The Aam Admi Party jas scored an impressive victory by winning four seats out of the five, losing one of its seat to Congress party.

The BJP has been the worst sufferer especially because it is at the helm of affairs in all the three municipal corporations since 2017. The bypolls showed AAP gaining an impressive victory.

According to the final results AAP’s Dhirendra Kumar won by a good margin of 7043 votes from Kalyanpiri, while from Trilokpuri AAP’s Vijay Kumar defeated BJP’s Om Prakash by a marjin of 4,986.

In Shalimar Bagh AAP’s Sunita Mishra defeated Surbhi Jaju of the BJP by 2,705 votes. This seat was previously held by the BJP. From another seat Ram Chander of AAP defeated BJP’s Rakesh Goyal by 2985 votes from Rohini C. The Congress party has won the lone seat from Chauhan Bangur.

It’s candidate Chaudhay Zubair Ahmed defeated AAP’s Mohammed Ihraq Khan by over 10000 votes.

It may be recalled that the AAM Admi Party has already announced that it is contesting on all the 70 seats of Uttarakhand and 400 seats of Uttar Pradesh.
