A woman dies and her husband and daughter unconscious with injuries after a huge boulder crashed their car they were travelling in at Badrinath highway

There is yet another tragic news coming in from Badrinath highway where a family has lost mother and a wife with two other car occupants grievously injured. This tragedy occured today in Chamoli district’s Badrinath highway near Patal Ganga where due to a heavy landslide a huge boulder crushed the car in which the three members of the family were travelling. The family comprising of a daughter , father and mother were coming in their car at the said location when all of a sudden a huge boulder fell on their car almost crushing them due to massive landslide. The wife of the Fatehpur entrepreneur of leather shoes died on the spot while the entrepreneur father/ husband and daughter fell unconscious with injuries, lucky enough to survive. The treatment of the father and his ten year old daughter is being conducted in a private hospital at Rishikesh. According to the latest news after getting information about the incident, the family left for Rishikesh. Bajrang Lal Garg’s elder son Ankit Garg (40), owner of Fatehabad’s Baba Shoe House, had gone to visit Badrinath Dham with his wife Shilpa (36) and daughter Khwahish (10) in a Baleno car. After having the darshan, the three were returning back to Rishikesh for their hometown finally. While they were commuting on Badrinath highway near Patal Ganga , a stone broke off from the mountain near Patal Ganga and fell on their car. Due to which the car got badly damaged rather crushed due to which Shilpa died on the spot while Ankit and his daughter Khwahish were injured. Khwahish’s leg is fractured with other wounds, while Ankit also has injuries on many parts of his body.
