A WOMAN AND HER TWO NIECES BRUTALLY CRUSHED UNDER A CAR IN NEW TEHRI WITH THE DRIVER , AN INEBRIATED BLO ARRESTED. PANIC ALL AROUND
Why is it that only Uttarakhand and that too the GARHWAL region of it is confronting so much of deadly accidents ? This is a moot question these days with even the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami after tremendous pressure of news in print, electronics channel and social media compelled to think over it issuing a stereotype statement that only trained drivers will now be in steering. However, this didn’t worked and we have yet another news of the most tragic deadly accident in New Tehri township, Bhagirathipuram today in which according to latest news in Bauradi near the Nagar Palika a most dangerous accident occured killing two children and a women injuring two other persons. The reason behind the deadly accident is reportedly the driver being in inebriated condition after having consumed excessive liquor and crushing two nieces including a women who were walking on the road not aware of their deadly destiny. The woman had died on the spot after being brutally crushed under the car whereas her two nieces died after treatment in the hospital due to severe injuries. This tragic incident has send shock waves all around. Two other persons on the road were injured though not severely. The driver of the car, a development officer of the Block badly over drunk have been arrested.
According to the news a woman Reena Negi wife of Ravindra Singh Negi along with her two nieces were strolling in New Tehri when they were brutally crushed by DP Chamoli development officer who was over drunk.
The father of the two children was working in Bauradi whereas the deceased woman’s husband was working in Social finance department.
The driver n owner of the car DP Chamoli has been arrested and the angered crowd had collected in the hospital where the two children had died including at the accident site badly shocked .
