A total of 11 motor roads costing Rs 10,480.49 lakh were also approved under PMGSY Stage-4.

State Irrigation, Public Works, Tourism Minister and Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj, while participating in the annual festival of development block Pokhra, gifted various development schemes worth Rs 26 crore to his assembly constituency. During this, he also announced to start science subject soon in Government Inter College Kimagadi.
Maharaj, while participating in the annual function of Government Inter College, Kimagadi Development Block Pokhara on Friday, announced the extension of motor road from 12 to 15 kilometers up to Jhalpadi of Damdeval Gadri in Development Block Pokhara under the state scheme for the area.
Along with the Public Works Department’s plan for reconstruction and improvement of funds worth Rs. 339.77 lakh, the reconstruction and improvement work of Bharatpur-Sundarai motor road worth Rs. 177.98 lakh, improvement and asphalting work, reconstruction and improvement work of Chalkudia-Masmoli-Saknoli-Nokholi motor road worth Rs. 345.88 lakh, stage-2 renovation work of Kunjkhal-Barsunda motor road worth Rs. 237.21 lakh, reconstruction and new construction work of damaged walls of Sanglakoti-Bondarkhal motor road worth Rs. 97.06 lakh were also sanctioned.
The foundation stone was also laid for the asphalting work of Kolakhal-Jajidi motor road at a cost of Rs 222.89 lakh and a total of 08 development schemes at a cost of Rs 189.70 lakhs were simultaneously sanctioned.
To strengthen the Panchayats, Maharaj inaugurated the Gram Panchayats Veenadhar, Kamedi, Devrani, constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakh in the development block Pokhara and also the Panchayat buildings of Gram Panchayat Danda Malla of Development Block Ekeshwar with the amount of Rs. 10 lakh inaugurated formally.
Along with this, a lift irrigation scheme based on sprinkler system is being constructed at a cost of Rs. 136.94 lakh in Devradi village Malli of Pokhara development block.
The reconstruction of solar on-grid based lift irrigation scheme worth Rs 120 lakh was also inaugurated in village Pakhari of development block Ekeshwar.
Apart from this, he inaugurated the stage 1 of rural motor road construction work from Dadakhil to village Kui of 03 km Damdeval motor road of development block Pokhara constructed with an amount of Rs 887.92 lakh.
And also inaugurated the construction of rural motor road from Chaubattakhal-Kui Danta motor road to Scheduled Caste Majgaon of Ulkhet Tok constructed with a sum of Rs. 212.35 lakhs, besides dedicating 08 projects of Public Works Department to his assembly constituency Chaubattakhal.
During his visit to the area, regional MLA and Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj, apart from conducting a site inspection of the under-construction girls hostel and repair of the school building at Government College Bedikhal,
Apart from conducting on-site inspection of the repair of the school building, he also met and interacted with the BJP officials, workers, booth presidents, BLA-2, in Pokhara and Bironkhal Mandals and discussed the various developmental schemes and projects urging them to spread them to the electorates of his constituency.
Many BJP workers and officials including Suyash Rawat Mandal President Shailendra Darshan, Pushkar Joshi, Sovan Singh, Rajpal Singh, Prabhu Sharan Budakoti, ADM Anil Garbyal, SDM Rekha Arya and officers were present in the function.
