A samaritan young minister Saurabh Bahuguna who helped reach two injured tourists to hospital in his personal escort !

The youngest son of the former Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna, grandson of the former UP CM n union minister holding several portfolios from time to time till 1980 H. N Bahuguna, forty four year old Saket Bahuguna who is, a cabinet minister in Uttarakhand is a sensitive and passionate human being as well despite being a politician.

Two time MLA from Sitarganj, he is the youngest minister in the state government. He is known to be a minister with helping nature and concerned for his electorates as well. His kindness and sense of duty towards humanity can be gauged from the fact that while he was on his official tour in Rudraprayag and returning back to Dehradun, the state capital, he saw two tourists having met with an accident injured near Srinagar, Garhwal in a road accident. Not wasting a single moment cabinet minister Saurabh Bahuguna dropped from his car and enquired about their health condition. When he get to know that the injured tourist need immediate medical attention n treatment he asked his escort, bodyguards to take the two injured tourists to Srinagar hospital and admit them on priority basis. The minister later on followed them and ensured that the injured are well treated medically. He personally instructed his subordinates to ensure that the injured are duly taken care of. This pro human philanthropic attitude, though it was his moral responsibility as a minister, is being lauded by one and all which will definitely send a good humanitarian message across, inspiring others too, to help people in distress n during accident mis – happenings. Kindly recall that Saurabh Bahuguna, cabinet minister, for the first time is the second term lawmaker from Sitarganj and youngest son of former Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna. Saurabh’s grandfather was a self made politician, rather a stalwart who was a freedom fighter, UP CM , communication, Petroleum n Chemical and Finance minister during the tenure of late PMs Indira Gandhi and Choudhary Charan Singh namely H. N. Bahuguna. He played a key role in the formation of Janata Party, opposing Emergency of 1977 tooth and nail and joining the then Janata Party along with Babu Jagjivan Ram, defence minister n another minister Nandani Satpathy giving a new dimension to the movement of Jai Prakash Narayan resulting in the formation of Janata Patty government, a conglomerate of several opposition national and regional parties to disintegrate after 22 months, thereafter.
