A popular face, senior journalist, and news anchor of NDTV based in Lucknow who brought news n political developments in a unique way with Urdu stance in his deliveries impressing one and all Kamal Khan is no more sending shock waves in Lucknow, UP and the journalistic fraternity, especially in electronic media. He died of cardiac arrest.
A balanced, impartial and fearless journalist with NDTV since long, Kamal Khan breathed his last in Uttar Pradesh’s capital city anguishing one and all. According to senior journalist Sanjeev Acharya extremely anguished to learn about the sad news of the death of a friend n a fearless journalist, famous for impartial news Kamaal Khan. He will always be remembered for portraying the complex socio political issues with extreme ease and in “Shayarana andaz”.He will always be remembered. Born in 1960, sixty one year old Kamaal Khan had three decades of association with NDTV since day one of his joining this organisation. The void left by him in TV journalism in particular will be difficult to be filled said UJF president and senior journalist Sunil Negi while praying to Almighty to render peace to the departed soul n strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable lost.
