A person died after a boulder fell on him forcing him being floated in the gushing river in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand a synonym of fatal tragedies has once again witnessed a horrible death of an innocent person who tragically died after a huge boulder fell on him. This heart wrenching tragedy relates to deceased Bhupendra Singh son of Ram Singh of village Metali Budgair under the jurisdiction of Jauljeevi police station at Indo Nepal Border, Uttarakhand.
The tragic incident occured at night when Bhupendra Singh was accompanying his ponies near Baasadgarh and in order to safeguard himself the former was hit by a boulder fallen from the mountain top while it was raining with tremendous force, finally plunging in the gushing river and his dead body being floated hundred metres away in the river.
According to the police there are two versions either he instantly died when the boulder plunged on him or afterwards after being swept away in the gushing flood waters of the river.
With the help of Jouljibi police and Anand Singh, Bala Singh and other villagers of Metli, Loomti, Mori, rescue work was done and the deceased was brought to the motor road and further action was taken.
