The people in Rajasthan’s Ganga city are terribly shocked over a most traf c and heartfelt wrenching incident never heard of before when some criminals have literally brutally amputated both the legs of a poor woman under the guise of getting her the job for sustenance to rob her of her two 1.5 kg traditional silver heavy bangles leaving the badly hurt woman in unconscious condition profusely bleeding, finally taken to hospital where she is by luck though without feet but well, convalescing and in medical treatment.
The pictures of this woman went viral in social media yesterday after it was posted with the news item in Facebook. According to a news report filed by UDAY MAURYA in Hindi in detail a shocking incident has come to light on Thursday morning in Gangapur City, Rajasthan.

A woman who had come to work as a laborer was brutally assaulted. An unknown man amputated both of her legs and stole silver bracelets weighing approximately one and a half kilograms.

This heinous incident has spread terror throughout the area and sent shockwaves through the police department. The victim has been identified as Kamala Devi who is a resident of Sitod village of Bamnwas and earns her living by hard labour. According to UDay Maurya , the writer : On October 5, Kamala Devi met an unknown man in the nearby town of Piplai.

He told her that he had construction work going on at several locations and needed laborers.
He obtained phone numbers from Kamala Devi and her friends. On October 8th, the unknown man called Kamala Devi and invited her to Gangapur City for labor work. Kamala Devi, along with her daughter-in-law Seema and neighbor Ugati, arrived in Gangapur City to work as a laborer. The criminal’s cunning tactics led to this crime. When the women arrived at the Gangapur City Bypass intersection, the man came to pick them up on his motorcycle.

He took Kamala Devi’s daughter-in-law Seema and neighbor Ugati on his bike and dropped them off at Udei turn. He said, “Wait, I’ll bring your mother-in-law (Kamala).” Meanwhile, the perpetrator also took daughter-in-law Seema’s mobile phone under some pretext, so they couldn’t contact anyone. Daughter-in-law Seema Devi said that after waiting for a long time, the man did not return, and she feared something untoward had happened.

She went to the Sadar police station in Gangapur City and filed a kidnapping case against an unknown person. Police were investigating the kidnapping case when a shocking report was received this morning (October 9th). A woman, seriously injured, with both legs amputated, was found lying near a petrol pump in Gangaji Ki Kothi village, near Gangapur City. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and confirmed that Kamala Devi was there. Police immediately took her to the District Hospital, Gangapur City.

Given her critical condition, she was immediately referred to Jaipur. At present, his condition is stable and treatment is going on. The attacker used an axe or a sharp weapon to remove the silver bangles weighing one and a half kilograms, which shows the extent of his cruelty. In view of the extreme seriousness of the situation, District Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar Beniwal personally took charge. He stated that he had acted swiftly and formed special teams.
