A huge boulder weighing hundreds of tins have fallen in a running vehicles killing one person extremely brutally and severely injuring three, alm the accounts of the car. This tragedy occured near police lines in Rudraprayag when a car with four occupants heading for Dehradun from Dewal, Rudraprayag was commuting / plying on the road. Everyone is shocked to witness this tragedy as commuting on roads in the hills of Uttarakhand, especially in Garhwal region on highway route to Chardham is tremendously risky as during monsoon due to the excessive rains the land becomes extremely wet and the boulders/ loose Rocky mountain parts loose their grip over the land and gradually fall down on the running vehicles, commuters and in some cases on houses, shops killing people on the spot and also leading to losses in kind.
