A boy driving scooty from Chamba to Rishikesh died after boulder falling on them with the pillon rider woman grievously injured

Repeated incidents of heavy boulder falling on the commuters on Badrinath National Highway seems to have broken all records of fatalities by boulder falling and what is worse is the fact that all the weather roads project worth 12000 crores or even more has resulted in making our already fragile mountains more weak mountains due to the deforestation executed on massive scale including cracking of hills thus resulting in landslides and boulder fallings leading to several brutal deaths of the locals, tourists and pilgrims.
Today, on the road from Chamba to Rishikesh – the driver on a scooty brutally died after the heavy boulder fell on them with the pillon rider woman grievously injured having been admitted to the Rishikesh hospital by the local police. The locals and the commuters stopped on seeing the tragedy and tried hard to revive him but of no avail. The Scooty number UK08TB 0244 was driven by a boy namely Ankit Jain son of Rajesh Kumar Jain of Ferozabad, UP and the pillon rider a woman. They were coming to Rishikesh from Chamba . While they were seventy metres ahead of Bemunda police chowki the boulders starting falling on them. The pillon rider was grievously injured and the man who was driving the scooty was dead after being internally injured, probably suffering the brain hammorrage while the pillon rider woman became unconscious with her woulds bleeding profusely.
