A bank employee dies after his car fell into a ravine at Marchula

Today yet another tragedy occured when a bank employee died after his car fell in a deep ravine killing him. According to the latest news on Saturday at the kupi turn near Salt in Almora district a serious accident occured when a bank employee died instantaneously. The news reveals that a car suddenly lost control and fell into a deep ravine off the State Highway on the Rachula Road. The driver died on the spot. The deceased was posted as head clerk at the Thaisand branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB), in Kumaon division. According to reports, on Saturday morning, near Kupi Band in the Marchula area, a car bearing the number UK-19B-0880 suddenly veered off course and fell into a 60-meter-deep ravine. Passersby immediately reported the accident to the Marchula police. A police team arrived at the scene and, with the help of local villagers, initiated rescue and relief operations. According to the police, Subhash Singh, originally from Sunwamin village, Taralapatwari, now in Gujdu Tehsil, Dhumakot (Pauri Garhwal), was currently working as the head clerk at the Thaisand branch of the Punjab National Bank.
It is reported that after completing his bank business on Friday evening, he was on his way home to Kashipur for a holiday. Meanwhile, his car crashed near Kupi Band in Marchula district taking his precious life.
