29 th December is the 79 th birth anniversary of the first and original legendary super star of Bollywood, then known as Indian Film Industry.
On this day his die hard fans, well wishers and those who love him to the core remember their true inspirational figure by celebrating his birthday in their own ways all over the country.
In Delhi one of his die hard fans, who was in close proximity to legendary super star Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka for over three decades Vipin Oberoi including the author of uknationnews.com n his former media advisor Sunil Negi, his friends, family members relatives n near and dear ones remember their super star on his birth and death anniversaries at “The Treat”, ( venue) behind Jesus and Mary College at Diplomatic Enclave Chanakyapuri, by cutting a cake and celebrating their legendary superstar’s birthday thus paying their true richest tributes.

A hawan with spiritual hyms is also organised on this ocassion. Several Kaka’s fans and singers pay tribute to their inspiring star by singing his super duper hit melodious songs with a well studded orchestra, giving the ocassion, a glamorous colour and odour reminiscing Kaka’s superstardom days of seventies.
The owner of “The Treat”, and Kaka’s die hard fan whom the superstar n MP from New Delhi Rajesh Khanna loved and adored the most Vipin Oberoi distributes blankets to the poor, needy and people of the underprivileged class on Kaka’s birth anniversary, including serving them lunch.
Kaka inaugurated this food van / stall ” The Treat”, several years ago and was a regular visitor here while in Delhi. He used to serve the poor during his birthdays while in Delhi at the Treat.
Meanwhile, on Kaka’s 79 th birth anniversary Bollywood’s producer Nikhil Dwivedi has announced a biopic on legendary super star Rajesh Khanna titled SUPERSTAR.
According to the news poring in, the film on the first and original super star Rajesh Khanna’s life will be based in the book Dark Star : The Loneliness of being Rajesh Khanna, authored by a celebrated writer Gautam Chintamani.
According to the producer of the biopic “Superstar”, on the life of Rajesh Khanna, Nikhil Dwivedi, he is extremely excited on this project to be directed by Farah Khan, who said that she has already read the book and found it to be a fascinating material for a fantastic biopic of super star Rajesh Khanna popularly nicknamed as Kaka.
Everybody is aware that Rajesh Khanna who carved a niche for himself in Bollywood by his outstanding histrionics after having been selected out of ten thousand competitors in the audition having stood first in the talent competition in Mumbai made his debut in Akhiri khat never to look back again giving 15 super duper box office hits in a row from 1969 to 72 making a record of sorts with an outstanding wave of frenzy among his fans especially girls who converted the superstar’s white Impala into pink n red and marrying him in dreams including writing letters with their bloods n so in and so forth.
Rajesh Khanna’s Bandhan, Kati Patang, Choti Bahut, Bawarchi, Amar Prem, Roti, Aap Ki Kasam, Daag, Hathi Mere Sathi etc had been a huge box office hits. He married Dimple Kapadia 16 years younger to him in 1973 and died of liver cirrhosis in 2012, July 18.

In my opinion, Kaka’s physical attributes which stood him in good stead before the audience were his crinkled eyes. Too much must be read into it. For, therein lies the genesis of “Superstar”. While smiling at heroine on-screen, seemingly to win her, his eyes got crinkled which presumably caused lady audience skip a beat. He had immortalised himself through his acting prowess. Sir, my belated Happy Birthday greetings for Kaka!
Yes you rightly said sir about Kaka’s interesting physical attributes especially crinkling of his eyes. No other superstar has ever earned so much of admiration and craze as Kaka acknowledged during his hey days. I remember, the saying uper Aaka neeche Kaka. Thanks for u r invaluable comment.
