Congress in a hurry, central observer holds screening committee meeting of tickets aspirants at Srinagar Kapkot Banquet hall

While there are only three months left for Uttarakhand assembly elections with the largely attended public meetings of PM Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi already held at Dehradun and AAM ADMI PARTY leader Arvind Kejriwal announcing lots of freebies, the exercise of screening the ticket aspirants has also started internally with BJP likely to change the tickets of more than forty percent sitting MLAs while the Congress already commencing its screening process to transparently narrow the list of ticket claimants in various constituencies, in a bid to console or appease those not fitting in the capability list of claimants n likely to prove hostile.

As far as the new political entrant in Uttarakhand’s election politics AAP is concerned it is in no hurry as its self appointed claimants are already, ready in advance, sure to get tickets who are either working in their respective constituencies or strong enough to spend enough money in their election not banking on funds from the party.

In addition to this, in majority of the constituencies AAP is eagerly waiting for the strong candidates of Congress n BJP who may turn to AAP at the last moment to be made it’s candidates after being denied tickets by these two national parties, turning hostile.

Moreover, women candidates will be more this time as ticket claimants in all the parties , after Priyanka Gandhi declaring to accord 40% tickets to women in UP followed by the demand of the national general secretary of Mahila Congress n Harish Rawat’s daughter Anupama Rawat in Uttarakhand last month, creating quite a commotion in the political corridors of Uttarakhand, with several sitting MLAs becoming apprehensive of losing their seats. However, this issue didn’t gained much momentum.

But fact remains that the women aspirants in Congress and other political parties in Uttarakhand will stake their claim with tremendous impetus especially after Priyanka Gandhi publicly announcing giving forty percent tickets to women in the largest state of the country.

The Congress party however has already fixed the meeting of its central observer and senior party leader Avinash Pandey for 17 th December, today at Banquet Wedding point at Srinagar, Srikot where he met all the ticket aspirants from Srinagar, Pauri, Devprayag, Lensedown, Choubattakjal, Badrinath, Tharali, Ghanshali, Kedarnath, Karnaprayag n Rudraprayag finally leaving for Almora to screen the ticket aspirants of Kumaun region.

This is just a start of the exercise of the screening committee headed by Avinash Pandey in which he will in future as well deliberate with the candidates of Congress to finally arrive at the single aspirant with hundred percent chances to win from every seat and appeasing those left out of the race.

This exercise has now commenced in Uttarakhand from Congress and the primary n basic motive is to assess the strongest candidate from each constituency and appease those who can’t be obliged by way of assuring them of positions in the organisation or elsewhere after coming to power in the state.

What is important here that the process of screening committee in atleast 11 CONSTITUENCIES by a central leader has started just a day after the rally of Rahul Gandhi, giving an impression of Congress in a hectic mode of preparations with regard to selection of candidates, giving enough time to candidates to campaign in their respective constituencies.

If the reports of political analysts are to be believed finding Congress as the prospective party to come to power there are good number of claimants for Congress tickets especially Harish Rawat and Pritam Singh placing forward the list of their key supporters/ aspirants in order to arrange maximum MLAs to become the next CM of the state.
