Principal correspondent of The Millenium Post Roshan Ali passes away sending shock waves in media fraternity
The senior journalist working with The Millenium Post having covered Delhi government for the last two decades first while in Daily Tribune and then in The Millenium Post fifty five year old Roshan Ali has breathed his last in a Kanpur Hospital sending shock waves in the media fraternity. The senior journalist Roshan who was travelling from Patna To Delhi, his place of work and residence, suffered a brain hemmorage near Kanpur and was admitted to a hospital where he breathed his last.
A member of the Press Accrediting Committee and member of Press Club of India Roshan Ali covered Delhi government for the last more than two decades. The Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal while expressing his grief over the sad demise of Roshan Ali tweeted : So sorry to hear about this. My condolence to his family. The senior journalist with Asian Age Sanjay Kaw also tweeted : Shocking ….. Our friend and senior journalist with Millenium Post Roshan Ali is no more…….. Munne Bharti senior correspondent with NDTV while demanding a monetary compensation of Rs. One crore to the bereaved family of Roshan Ali said that Roshan Ali was very active during Covid 19 period and risked his Life to cover the stories tagging his tweet to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.
The press Club of India in its tweet wrote : Senior journalist Roshan passed away following a massive heart attack on Monday evening. The press club of India feels sidelined over the tragic loss and prays for his eternal peace. A very warm and affable person, Roshan was working in Millenium Post Delhi says the PCI tweet.
The president of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum Sunil Negi has expressed his shock over the sad demise of senior journalist Roshan Ali demanding maximum financial compensation to the bereaved family of the dedicated journalist not less than Rs fifty lakhs. Negi said that he had met Roshanji a day before the election of PCI on 8 th April, n never had the inkling about this tragedy in store for him and his bereaved family after few months. It’s really shocking n traumatic. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
An alumni of Aligarh Muslim University Roshan Ali plunged into active journalism later on and was very popular in the AMU. A principal correspondent in Millenium Post having covered Delhi government for over two decades his void would be felt ever in media fraternity.
Executive member of PCI Mr. Asif while expressing his immense shock said that Roshan was an investigative journalist and a very cooperative human being. He knew him for the last 25 years. I lost a trusted journalist friend in his sudden passing away.
