The health condition of pioneering journalist with Doordarshan and NDTV for many decades Vinod Dua is still very critical and fragile as reported by his comic actor daughter Mallika Dua in her Instagram today after the celebrated veteran journalist was yesterday evening shifted to Apollo hospital intensive care unit, fir better medical care and treatment. He was earlier admitted in a Gurugram hospital in ICU. There were rumours about his, death in social media abruptly dismissed by his daughter saying that he is though still in the stage of beyond critical but in ICU fir which she had requested for prayers for his recovery. In her Instagram post today Mallika Dua wrote : My papa was moved to Apollo hospital last night where he can be cared fir better. She added : He has been a fighter in his entire life. Uncompromising and relentless. His family is the same when it comes to him, Maklika, Dua, wrote on her Instagram post. An outspoken journalist Vinod Dua had always been and analytical and investigative political journalist having borne the wrath of the ruling party last year when a sedition case was lodged against him finally getting relief from the court.
