AAM AADMI PARTY declares it’s first candidate from Gangotri n he it’s chief ministerial candidate Col. Ajay Kothiyal
The AAM Admi Party which has stepped in as a third political alternative for the very first time in the last twenty one years in Uttarakhand has today declared its first assembly candidate at Uttarkashi public meeting through the deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia who visited Uttarkashi and participated in a road show attended by massive number of the locals as well as people with curiosity thronging from the adjoining villages.
A district Congress president and several local office bearers joined Aam Admi Party expressing their commitment towards AAP’s vision of Uttarakhand’s Nav Nirman.

The public meeting was also attended by large number of people cheering and welcoming the Delhi Deputy CM raising slogans hailing AAP, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, the AAP CM candidate and expressing their solidarity to the new party’s relentless struggle to change the BJP rule in the himalayan state.
The deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia challenged the BJP government asking them to show a single government school in Uttarakhand which has been upgraded with latest educational facilities and stature compelling the students of public schools seeking admission there on the lines of Delhi government schools, giving up the expensive public schools.
Giving the example of best governance in the national capital for the last eight years Manish Sisodia said the people of Delhi are extremely happy with the outstanding performance of AAP government under Arvind Kejrival’s efficient leadership in all the sectors of health, education, power, water, women n youth empowerment saying that they have elected them for three terms incessantly.
He castigated the Congress n BJP governments to alternatively rule in Uttarakhand during the last two decades and looting the state by befooling the innocent electorates taking the state to backwardness than progress, encouraging corruptors , mafias and ultra capitalists etc. He urged the people to vote to AAP as it is for the very first time in Uttarakhand that a credible political alternative is in front of them, missing durring the last two decades.
He assured the electorates of the state and Uttarkashi to elect AAP’s CM candidate Colonel Ajay Kothiyal with massive majority and see for themselves the Uttarakhand state being changed from worst to best with people’s aspirations being fulfilled and state touching new heights of development and all round progress.
Addressing, the public meeting on the death ( supreme sacrifice) anniversary of valiant rifleman of 4 Garhwal Rifles regiment and prestigious Mahavir chakra recipient posthumously who single handedly killed 300 Chinese soldiers in the war of Turarang in Arunachal Pradesh in 1962 at Tawang, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal said that after three decades in 1992 he too joined 4 Garhwal Rifles, after passing out as 2nd Lieutenant and served the nation with immense dedication and fortunately today also after thirty years being declared as the candidate from Gangotri, to serve Uttarakhand on his anniversary. There can’t be better and most befitting tribute to the patriotic icon like Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat said Colonel Ajay Kothiyal in his address to the people of Gangotri amit cheers and slogans hailing this great valiant fighter who laid down his precious life at the age of mere 21.
The AAP vociferous member of Parliament of Punjab Bhangwant Mann also participated in a massive Kisan Yatra at Khatima, Kumaon, Uttarakhand and appealed to the people to bring Aam Admi Party to power in the himalayan state where both BJP and Congress has looted the people during their alternative rules of the last twenty one years. He emphatically called for change of BJP government in Uttarakhand fir the Nav Nirman of the Himalayan state being neglected and people’s aspirations not fulfilled for the last 21 years, due to massive corruption and governmental apathy.
The response to AAM Admi party meetings are being rated as outstanding with lot of annoyed and exasperated leaders of both the parties especially Congress, at the local level, joining Aam Admi Party in abundance.
It may be recalled that the increasing influence of Aam Admi Party in Uttarakhand though being the first time contestant in the himalayan state in all the seventy seats, have worried both Congress n BJP but the latter to a great extent.
The party’s concessions n freebies assurances on electricity by giving 300 units bijli free of cost and giving one lakh jobs in six months after coming to power including Rs. 5000 as unemployment allowance to the unemployed youths of each and every family allocating Rs. 4500 crores on this account has impressed the youths and students to a great extent.
