A 20 year old young boy commits suicide after mal treatment by police SHO at Satpuli bridge

The incidents of police terror, torture and suppression are allegedly being heard in Uttarakhand very often these days and the recent order of suspension of SHO, Tehri Dharmendra Rautela by the Uttarakhand High Court learned justice Rakesh Thapliyal for torturing and harrassing a you tuber and social activist is enough to prove home this point.
Not only this but at Dehradun several police personal mercilessly thrashed with lathis in public glare the students for holding a protest without seeking official permission allegedly injuring several innocent students thus inviting the brunt of the SSP Dehradun Pramendra Dobal who suspended the responsible officers and the junior policemen for this inhumanly behaviour.
As if this was not enough a twenty year old young man who was harrassed and physically tortured by the traffic police/ SHO and verbal abuse directed at his parents was so badly depressed and felt undignified including terrorised that he committed suicide by hanging under the bridge with his helmet on his head at Satpuli sending shock waves all around.
According to the latest news the video of this tragic suicide has gone viral in social media.
The video posted in social media purportedly exhibits the youth before suicide describing physical assault by policemen and verbal abuse directed at his parents.
He is seen pointing to injuries on his elbow and knee. The police say he was involved in an accident and was drunk.
Senior officer says his allegations will be investigated thoroughly to reach at a definite conclusion.
Before his alleged suicide, the victim posted a video on social media accusing local police of harassment after they seized his motorcycle.
The name of the deceased as identified by the local police as Pankaj belonging to Retpur village.
The tragedy came to the notice of the people of Satpuli creating sensation after a local resident informed the police through a mobile.
There are reports that the young man before committing suicide has recorded his video narrating the maltreatment meted out to him by the police.
