Four-year-old innocent child killed by a leopard in Chowbattakhal, constituency represented by Satpal Maharaj, minister

The Pauri Garhwal district has indeed become a huge disaster for its residents as not an alternate day is passed when there are no casualties at the behest of the maneater leopards/ tigers.
On an average three or more brutal tragic deaths take place in a week and at times on all days.
The women working in agricultural fields, going to nearby jungles or green meadows for grass for cattles and male farmers including children in their house cimpond playing have constantly become the easy prey of these predators.
Though the government of Uttarakhand dosent give accurate statistics of the victims of maneater attacks, on an average during the last twenty five years since the state came into existence about 600 or more casualties have taken place in all, in the state.
While the sequence of maneater attacks goes on today in Chownattakhal area represented by Satpal Maharaj , cabinet minister of Uttarakhand state, a four year old girl has fallen prey to a maneater.
According to a latest news a four-year-old girl was devoured in Bhatkot village, located in the Timli Gram Sabha of Chaubattakhal area.
The incident took place around nine o’clock in the night. Harendra, a resident of Bhatkot village, had his four-year-old daughter, Drishti, playing in the courtyard after dinner was suddenly grabbed by the maneater leopard by its jaws creating panic and fear in the village. The leopard dragged her from the courtyard down towards the fields.
Hearing the noise of the relatives, other villagers also reached the spot and started searching for Drishti.
After much effort, Drishti’s body was recovered in the bushes some distance from the house. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Forest Department is holding a party in Pauri.
