Despite the strong opposition by the Congress party in Uttarakhand criticizing the re entry of the BJP Uttarakhand Incharge Dushyant Gautam in the Himalayan state, the latter is least bothered and is fully active in his capacity as the Uttarakhand BJP incharge being garlendad and welcomed by senior BJP leaders with open arms and seeking his advise and dectates with regard to the rejevunation of the party organisation at various levels in view of the fast approaching state assembly elections due in 2027. What is interesting to note here that Dushyant Gautam after attending high level yesterday’s meeting at Dehradun in the presence of the CM and all party MPs and MLAs , went ahead to Udham Singh Nagar and Haldwani where he was welcomed by the district level top brass with garlends and bouquets including taking photographs. It is believed that the Uttarakhand Incharge has taken meetings with the local office bearers and given them necessary directions to rejuvenate the party at the decentralised levels in view of the state assembly elections. The increased morale of Dushyant Gautam unambiguously indicate that the Central BJP high command has given him the go ahead making one thing absolutely clear that despite the ongoing CBI probe he will not be affected in anyway. It may be recalled that in the most controvertial and sensitive Ankita Bhandari case the name of Dushyant Kumar was allegedly taken in one of the audio tapes by the former BJP MLA Dushyant Gautam released in the social media by the latter’s actress Second wife Urmila Sanawar creating quite an uproar and flutter in the socio political and media circles of Uttarakhand with the state chief minister finally under public pressure recommending the Ankita Bhandari case to CBI for investigation.
The BJP Uttarakhand Incharge Dushyant Gautam had approached the Delhi High Court against the press and social media naming certain X handles, you tubers and news channels for deteriorating his reputation and seeking orders from the High Court to withdraw all the matter connecting him with Ankita Bhandari case.
There are reports that within Uttarakhand BJP there are lot of activists who are annoyed after the active involvement of Dushyant Gautam in Uttarakhand BJP politics as they think that his association may harm the party in 2027 assembly elections.
However, the fact remains that according to the law unless credible evidence found no one can be charged as an accused.
However , the Uttarakhand Congress leaders especially Garima Dasauni had said that since his name has appeared in the audio taken by the former MLA of his own party Mr. Gautam should be brought under the purview of investigation.
